A poem translation is a complex phenomenon. In translation process, two (or more) multi-level systems are in a certain type of relationship. Models and theories describe the relationship between source and target very differently – of analogy or similarity, of determination, of dependence, of cross-culture, etc.

A translation, from this perspective, could be defined as the transformation (recreation, transposition, etc) of a multiplex (source-text) into another multiplex (target-text). In this case, it would also be correct to assume that a good translation preserves the most relevant network attributes of a multiplex-source.
